The ability, if you so desire, to reach out via your blog to other gardeners is one of the great differences between a modern blog and an old-fashioned pen and paper journal. From the comfort of your armchair you can discover a wealth of sites online that are devoted to growing all kinds of plants in very diverse environments. Whether you want to protect fig trees from a winter storm or grow roses in a desert there is somebody out there who has the answer you are looking for on their blog – and because these garden blogs are mainly written by ordinary gardeners with passion and personality they tend to be a fun read as well as being (usually) informative. |
