In Nancy Ondra's Perennial Care Manual she has a photo of using bungee cords to hold back ornamental grasses. I simply needed to weed underneath and mow the lawn near the grass so I tried it last weekend. It worked so well! Last fall when I decided it was time to whack back the grass that towered over our tiny garden I used duct tape- it was pain to get off the grass and also felt like a waste. I am excited to use the bungee cords again. That is all.
